Bernie Ecclestone is the F1 supremo, who is responsible for getting 22 of the fastest cars in the world onto a racing track, but now he is going to get 50 of his own cars on to a new venue and that is at the Automobiles of London auction. The 50 cars from Mr. Ecclestone’s private collection will congregate on the 31st October in Battersea Park, London, and is expected to raise at least 15 million pounds.
Some of the cars that the Formula One billionaire will be selling are a 1933 Marmon Sixteen Victoria Coupe, 300 SL Gullwing, 1950 Ferrari 250 GT Europa Mk II, 1933 Lancia Astura Roadster, 1937 Mercedes 540 K Cabriolet B, this should fetch at least worth $7 million and at the other end of the scale is a 1964 Ford Anglia.
It is not sure why he is selling off some of his prized car collection, but as he will turn 77 in October, he might as well offer them to people who will enjoy the vehicles more.
